President's Message

Welcome to the Ottawa County Bar Association website!

Our members are Ohio attorneys from numerous jurisdictions and with diverse backgrounds and experience in legal matters.

The Ottawa County Bar Association was created over a hundred years ago and has been active since that time.  As a vacationland, the shores of Ottawa County bring many guests to our area and the need may arise for legal counsel to our visitors as well as our own residents.  This website was created for general use by the public and will help you in your search for legal counsel.

If you need an attorney, please feel free to view the listings in this site.  The attorneys in this Association are familiar with local practices, procedures and rules and many attorneys are familiar with the areas of practice for other attorneys and may help direct you to the most suitable attorney for your needs.  To find attorneys within an area of practice, please visit the
Area of Practice page.

The OCBA does not operate a referral service, nor does it maintain a listing of attorneys willing to take on cases pro bono (no charge).  Instead, the OCBA directs those who are indigent and cannot afford an attorney to
Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, Inc. (ABLE) and Legal Aid of Western Ohio, Inc.   Additional information can be found below.

We welcome you to our website and hope that it is helpful.

Chas Munoz, President
